How Internet Marketing Companies Will Look At Twitter's Attaining Of Snappytv

By Bob Oliver

According to an article on Mashable, Twitter announced that it had purchased SnappyTV. For those who do not know, SnappyTV is a service that allows users to not only share video content but edit it in certain ways. With these points in mind, it's clear that it can be a very viable program in the right hands. The fact that Twitter was able to attain it says quite a bit, according to many Internet marketing companies, and I think one of the biggest points of note is that the company has not been around for that long.

SnappyTV was founded in 2010, which makes it a relatively young company in context of the Internet. In any event, the main reason why Twitter decided to purchase SnappyTV, as the article referenced, is because of the possibility of it boosting its Amplify program. Twitter Amplify, by definition, is viewed as a program that is able to help advertisers reach viewers, beyond TV, onto the social network in question. For Internet marketing companies across the board, Twitter Amplify is a platform to focus on.

Twitter has been heavily focused on video and it's clear as to why. Keep in mind that the general audience has a better chance of being engaged by video content because, in most cases, it is easier to take in than written work. Even though thousand-word essays may be engaging in their own respects, many people simply prefer watching videos. However, this may be the reason why this acquisition will matter tremendous over the course of time.

According to firms such as fishbat, video content has tremendous reach, provided it is created effectively. Internet marketing companies, from what I have seen, may be able to make the most out of Twitter Amplify now that it has been backed by SnappyTV. In addition, Twitter has the goal of making Amplify a versatile tool to the point where all companies can utilize it, regardless of technological savvy. Of course, the long-term results of this partnership will only be found with time.

Is there potential to be had when it comes to Twitter and its purchase of SnappyTV? I believe this to be true, especially when it comes to the tremendous amount of video content that businesses will be able to make use out of. It's also important to note that since so many people are getting into video as a career path, a tool like Twitter Amplify can prove to be infinitely more useful. In time, I have to believe that the best results will be seen.
